Hi Randall, I quite like all of your work, and your efforts to help people understand nature. However, I disagree with you on one very important point. The soldiers that make up the ISAF in Afghanistan and Iraq are professionals. They take great pride in what they do, and there is training, strategy, and teamwork when it comes to war. Read Sebastian Junger’s book WAR. Unlike what you’ve suggested to Donald Trump, Jr., there isn’t a thrill of the kill in war, and the sacrifices they make come at a great cost in ways most people will never understand. While there is no doubt that killing and dying are two outcomes of war, there is no thrill in either.
As for Donald Trump Jr., the professional soldiers would not want either him or his cronies with them either. Fakes are fakes.
