That’s right folks, this weekend–Sunday…is “Oscar Sunday”–when the best of the best come out and the awards are given out! So many wonderful films this year and performances–it’s certainly going to be a doozy and I’m so thrilled Billy Crystal is back at what he does best!

I have had the thrill to tour the Northwest and meet so many wonderful people! I am blessed!
The more we can learn about other animals, and realize we are not alone on this planet–the better off we can be as both humans and a society as a whole! Now, that being written, this doesn’t mean we have to be all “Debbie Downer” about it–we just need to educate one another and learn what we as individuals and as a nation, can do to treat our wildlife and animals better!

How exciting?! New year, new resolutions and focus–ah…to start anew; blank slate. I love it–but nothing drove me nuttier with every new year, in having to listen to and sing along with that old, “Auld Lane Signs” song! I mean, it’s a really out-of-date song and in short, hasn’t truly stood the test of time the way some other songs have. In fact, at this point the music itself (which is hundreds upon hundreds of years old and from Scotland) is what makes it–but those lyrics are tiresome and stupid.
So, I took it upon myself to come up with my own updated versh! A “new” New Years song, if you will…and here it is!

2012 Means Fun, Fun, Fun!!!
Get ready!!!
OMG! Can you believe it?! I’m going to be talking and signing very soon! I am so looking forward to a fabulous time on the road–meeting new people, talking about animals and what I love to do: narrate wildlife!!!
When a friend of my assistant’s, Chrissy, sent this to him–he sent it to me and I flew beyond excited! I am just so thrilled to “take the show on the road” as it were, and show my book off to everyone! It was exciting to write it, and now, I look very forward to reading from it, discussing it and signing them for peeps!
And FYI, I just finished recording my audiobook companion to the book! And let me tell you–you’re gonna love it! I simply cannot wait!
